Das Biwak ist in einem relativ schlechten Zustand. Es ist sehr schmutzig, überall liegen Abfall und menschliche Exkremente, weil es keine Toilette gibt und auch keinen definierten Bereich für das Geschäft zu erledigen (das wäre ja einfach umzusetzen).
Leider kann man das Biwak nicht reservieren. Es gibt Platz für 10-12 Personen aber es ist häufig extrem voll. Als wir an einem Freitag da waren, haben 23 Personen da übernachtet. Es war nicht gemütlich.
Ich empfehle es nicht und würde nicht noch einmal hingehen.

We stayed in this bivy for one night. It has comfy place for 10 people, but you could squeeze in 12. But there are only blankets for 10 persons! It has an amazing view on the glacier and Pollock and Castor and makes it mildly easier to climb them as one can avoid the uphill from the Refugios de Ayas.

It is a good alternative to the Refugios around, but you have to have very low standards. The hut is unfortunately littered with left overs and trash. Moreover does the mattresses, and pillows are stained and have mildew stains, possibly mold infestation. The surrounding of the bivac is used as an open toilet and you need to be very careful, where to go/step.
Moreover in high season you should arrive early to make sure to get a space. There is no reservation.

Un po' sporco fuori e dentro, ma da un bivacco a quella quota e abbastanza "affollato" non ci si può aspettare più di tanto.

Ci sono 10 posti letto, eventualmente 12 se si sta un po' stretti, e un tavolo da 4 posti. È posizionato supra uno sperone e non é molto comodo da raggiungere, specialmente ora che è stato un po' abbandonato dal CAI. Infatti occorre risalire delle rocce nelle quali sono previste delle corde fisse, ma in alcuni punti sono rotte o agganciate in modo pericoloso. Anche all'interno della struttura ci sono le assi del pavimento che sono consumate e a rischio di rottura. Inoltre la maleducazione di alcuni alpinisti ha fatto sì che si accumulasse un intero sacco di immondizia. Ma ci vuole tanto a portarsi i propri rifiuti a valle?

Bivacco espectacular. Su acceso no es muy sencillo, pero sin duda merece la pena visitarlo. Sus vistas son inmejorables al igual que su situación, dando acceso rápido a cimas como el Castor (4.228m), el Pollux (4.092m), el Roccia Nera (4.075m) o el cresterio de los 3 Breithorn (todos por encima de los 4.100m).
El Refugio está equipado con colchones con capacidad para 10 personas, una mesa y utensilios varios.

Comfortable rest from a harsh weather. There is a panel light outside connected to a large battery inside. There is a light with a switch in the room which you can only turn on after dark.

Un ottimo riparo durante le traversate.
10 posti letto circa, e un piccolo tavolo.
Bivacco ben coibentato, se c'è vento chiudere gli scuri delle finestre perchè sbattono di notte.
Unica nota negativa (per i precedenti visitatori) è un saccone di immondizia abbandonato lí: nei bivacchi non si lascia mai NIENTE, tantomeno i rifiuti!
